WHAT TO EXPECT

From the moment you contact C. Bayless Photography & Design you will be greeted with a warm welcome and a personal interest in who you are! For those who are looking to book a session, Carrie will email you her pricing and FAQ sheet. It is important that you take the time to look everything over so you have all of the information available to make a comfortable decision as to whether C. Bayless Photography & Design is a good fit for you and your wants.

NEWBORN SESSION
Expect your newborn session to take about 2-3 hours. This extra time will allow for diaper changes, feedings and calming the baby if needed. Please make sure to contact C. Bayless Photography & Design at least a couple of months before the baby is due to check availability. The session usually takes place in the comfort of your home and needs to be scheduled within the first week the baby is born. When Carrie arrives at your home, she will ask to look around in search of which room has the best window lighting. Don't be surprised if Carrie asks to move some of the furniture around, and no worries she will be sure to put everything back as it was when she arrived.

CHILDREN SESSION
This will be a typical 1-2 hour session. Carrie will interact with your child(ren) to make a connection. It is important for your child(ren) to feel comfortable with their surroundings. As the trust builds the more their personality will shine for Carrie to capture their natural expressions. Each child is different in how they respond to someone they are unfamiliar with so please keep in mind you may be asked to partake in helping or even become a prop to the image. There may even be situations where it is best for the parent to stand a side out of view. There are many parents that have expressed how nervous they are with how their child(ren) will behave and stress thinking about if there will be any good pictures captured. Please keep in mind that it doesn't help the child to feel comfortable with their parents getting upset or frustrated with them. They will feel the tension and either act out or not relax giving "fake" smiles. Having fun is the key to this session, so relax and enjoy the experience!
